FAQ

Will you accept flowers that are already dried? Yes!

What is your turnaround time? That ranges between 6-12 weeks for fresh flowers. If I'm working with pre-dried flowers or other materials (such as shells) that do not require the drying step, then around 3-5 weeks.

Will my flowers stay the same color? It depends on the flower and color, but they will likely look a little different. Bright colors such as yellows, blues, oranges, and pinks tend to stay vibrant, but reds and purples usually dry a darker shade. Whites may dry more off-white.

Please be aware that flowers can bruise and cause transparent spots on the petals if not handled with care. Please be as gentle as possible with your flowers to prevent the bruise spots from appearing in the resin.

Will all my flowers be used? All healthy looking flowers and foliage will go through the drying process, but some may not make the cut in the design step. Depending on the size and shape of the mold and flowers, it may look better to select certain ones verses trying to fit them all in one piece. I like to dry more than I need to account for any flowers that get damaged during the drying process.

Can you preserve succulents? No. Succulents carry a lot of moisture in their leaves and they shrivel like a grape when dry. If they are a part of your bouquet, I suggest saving those and turning them into a new house plant. :)

What do I need to know about resin? Although I work with resin with UV inhibitors, all resin yellows over time. This process can be slowed down by keeping your piece out of direct sunlight for long periods of time. Also be mindful to keep away from heat sources.

There is no perfect piece. A lot of care goes into each layer of your piece to reduce the appearance of bubbles, but there may be some microbubbles that are unavoidable. Layer lines may also be visible from the side view due to the nature of the pouring process.

Resin pieces may be cleaned with glass cleaner or mild soap and water.

Do you accept returns? No returns on custom orders. Returns for ready-made art may be accepted, but please email me with your return request/reason. If a return is accepted, then you would be required to pay for return shipping.

How will I receive my items upon completion? You may either choose to pick-up your item from the same drop-off location free of charge. Or, you may opt to have the items delivered to your house for a flat $10 shipping fee.
